“On the road again” –can you believe it?! After being side-lined for some two years, we had a fruitful and rewarding trip over Easter. God blessed the preaching of His Word, and gave us some precious times of fellowship with loved ones from the past. We returned home to play “catch up” on appointments, and a full ministry schedule. We had an outstanding Mission graduation on the 6th, with four solid graduates who have “decided to follow Jesus!”
I’m thankful for an encouraging report from the Oncologist. My Neuropathy still affects my balance, but it helps to remind me of the “chemo pit” from which I’ve been delivered! Chris’ cancer is still to be addressed. We head to Cleveland Clinic soon to meet with the cardiac evaluation team. They will determine whether she’s well enough to withstand the risk of the laparoscopic surgery to remove her female organs. Other than God’s direct intervention, the only option is intense radiation, which we do not have peace about. Thanks for your continued intercession –it’s too soon to quit!
Gratefully, we’re “hitting the road” again on Thursday for the Faith Bible Church reunion on Saturday (28th). I trust that any of you who were affiliated with this great ministry in Medford, NJ will attempt to join us. It will be a special event indeed—a bit of Heaven! I will also be speaking at a nearby church in Hammonton on Sunday morning (29th). Please make plans to come if possible. (Contact our daughter Deb for details: Email – email@example.com or Phone- 856-220-0292).
For some time now Chris and I have visualized (“dreamed”) of gathering with all the precious ones who have touched our lives over the years, whether in NJ, GA, PA, etc. One Day that will be reality when “we all meet together” at Jesus feet! Wow! ‘Til then, let’s “keep on keepin’ on,” living in such a way that souls around us will see how great JESUS is! As a fellow-laborer says frequently, “There’s No One like JESUS, No One!”
We send our best to each of you as you labor in these challenging days.
With our Love in Christ,
Bill & Chris
