To begin, I wanted you to catch a glimpse in the pictures below of the new Mission building in progress. It’s been exciting to finally see the structure go up, but not forgetting the planning and labor in laying a solid foundation. This illustrates our purpose in helping hopeless, broken souls to “build” a new life on the Solid Rock.
Words fail to express my gratitude to you for the gifts sent to the Mission in memory of Chris’ Home-going. Likewise, your loving response to me and my family through cards, gifts, calls, meals, etc. has been overwhelming. Thank you so much for your heart-felt, caring expressions at a most difficult time. It’s a bitter-sweet experience, rejoicing through the tears, while anticipating a glad Reunion one Day! The Lord honored my dear wife’s desire that her funeral would glorify her Savior. PTL!
I took some time out to spend with family and friends, but am “back in the saddle again.” I need wisdom and grace to “pace” myself in this new chapter of my life. I’m praying about an additional place of ministry that’s opened and covet your continued prayer support. I trust that each of you is sensing a renewed awareness of God’s presence and power in these last days. It’s too soon to quit! “Even so come, Lord Jesus.”
With much love in Christ,
