December 2024 Update

Dear Ones:

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

It’s not only a new year, but a renewed start for America! God has answered the heart-cry of God-fearing people who have had enough of Washington’s reign of corruption. “Righteousness exalteth a nation; but sin is a reproach to any people. (Prov.14:34)

Personally, my focus for years has been on Isa. 59:19, “When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him.” In the midst of a godless society, God is raising up a “standard” of righteousness and justice; granted that Mr. Trump and company are all imperfect, flawed people; but are there any other kind? These are the only kind of instruments God has ever used; He uses “the weak to confound [confuse] the mighty;” He can still take a “crooked stick” and draw a straight line!

I anticipate a moral and cultural awakening which will facilitate renewed opportunities to proclaim the Word of God. Would it not be great to witness a corresponding spiritual revival among sleeping churches across the nation?

Let’s be clear that the insidious forces of Satan will not surrender or fizzle; rather, the anti-Christ spirit will persevere in attempting to destroy Biblical righteousness. No political party can defeat this onslaught. It will take God’s intervention through Spirit-filled believers to make a difference.

As we approach 2025, let us wake out of spiritual lethargy and soberly embrace Paul’s declaration in Phil. 3:13,14; “...this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.”

God saved us on purpose for a purpose. With singleness of mind, let us pursue that “high calling” in making Christ Jesus known to those in our world.

The Lord is still honoring His Word at the Mission. Thanks for your continued prayer for me as I try to pace myself in the schedule. I’ve been battling sciatica pain in my hips, but gratefully my mind is still clear. May our Lord bless and encourage you in this New Year. What a privilege is ours to be involved in that which counts for eternity. PTL!

My love and gratitude to each of you.

Pastor Bill
